Northern Powerhouse Innovator MBA Scholarship

By Chartered One

There’s never been a better time to study in Manchester.

With world leading science hubs such as the National Graphene Institute, the 2015 visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the proposed high-speed rail link, the city has been afforded renewed prestige on an international stage.

Manchester has become the poster city for the so-called ‘Northern Powerhouse’, which has seen the region rise to prominence in the business arena.

Manchester Met’s Northern Powerhouse Scholarship aims to reflect this, offering two students the chance to win discounted entry onto our MBA programme.

What does the scholarship offer?

The scholarship awards one winner with a £6,000 discount on their course fees, while one runner-up receives £3,000 off their fees.

Both will join our MBA programme in October 2016. There is plenty of information on the course structure throughout our site, as well as stories from our successful alumni, which will give you an idea of what to expect from your time with Manchester Met.

How to enter

Full details of the competition will be revealed on this page on May 23rd 2016. The competition will ask for an online submission, to be completed by July 15th 2016.

This competition is open to all candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria for our MBA programme. We also have a Women in Business Scholarship available for female candidates. Please see our terms and conditions before applying.

Choosing the winners

We will select 10 submissions for our final shortlist, which will then be judged by our panel of business experts. All shortlisted entrants will be invited to a special presentation evening at the Business School on Wednesday 27th July 2016, where the winner and runner-up will be announced.
