The Chester & North Wales Society of Chartered Accountants has a new Chairman.
Colin Fowler of Morris & Co, Chartered Accountants in Ellesmere Port, has been appointed Chairman of the Chester & North Wales Society of Chartered Accountants.
He takes the reins from past president Andrew Lloyd of Baker Tilly, who led the society during 2014 / 2015.
Colin will support the Society’s members in Chester & North Wales, which forms part of tICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
His primary role will be to oversee the delivery of a range of services for members including a series of CPD courses, an annual dinner, a variety of technical and networking events and discussion groups as well as representing the interests of Chartered Accountants to the wider business community.
He will be supported in this role by Vice Chair, Zoe Devenport of Henry R Davis Chartered Accountants, Deeside.
Colin Fowler, Chairman of the Chester & North Wales Society of Chartered Accountants, said: “I am honoured to be offered the role as the local society Chairman, notably given the calibre and reputation of the individuals who have previously represented the society before me. Andy Lloyd assures me that I will enjoy my term of office; I look forward to doing so and to working with Zoe and the other committee members in the interests of the society”.
